Setting up an Appointment
If you are interested in having a piece of furniture custom built we can assist you in one of several ways. You can stop by ours showroom, Monday through Friday from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm or on Saturdays from 10:00am until 12 noon. We can set up an appointment to meet you in your home or in the showroom at any time that is convenient for you or if you have a simple project, you might want to follow the steps below and email us the information and we will contact you with a proposal via email.
To receive a proposal by email, please send us your name, address, the best phone number to contact you at, and a description of what you would like built. Along with this, it would be very helpful if you include a quick sketch showing the finished dimensions of your new piece of furniture. If you would like us to match an existing piece of furniture a couple of digital pictures would really help.
Should you be artistically challenged, we are more than happy to schedule a free in home consultation to look at your project and provide you with drawings to help you order the piece of furniture that you are dreaming of.
Tips for custom furniture
We can also build a piece of furniture from multiple pictures of different pieces. For example, you really like the crown molding on a wall unit, or the door style of another, A picture or scan of a magazine photo(s) works great. We can build in any wood. We have our own in house finish shop so matching custom colors is not a problem.
Are you interested in a media cabinet for your new TV? We will need the dimensions of your components, the TV, reviever/amp, DVD player, speakers, etc. Also needed are the number of components you are planning on having. Just because you are building the cabinet today does not mean that you will not add something tomorrow, plan ahead. Custom furniture is not disposable. We at RealWood Products would like you to get the maximum life out of your new piece of furniture.
Estimates are normally turned around in one to two business days. Shipping and handling is available nationwide with the purchaser paying actual shipping and packaging costs. We deliver regularly to the Western Wisconsin and the Minneapolis/St Paul metro areas.
